Dr Charles W Shaw took over as Chairman of LCVYS in October 2012.
Charles is also the Director of Lincolshire Youth Association and has worked within the youth services over a period of years.

Kate has worked for Lincolnshire Young Farmers’ Clubs since 2017 as County Development Manager.  She supports all the YFC Clubs throughout Lincolnshire with Development, Sponsorship, Funding, Training, Competitions, Youth Forum and Social Events.  Being a Young Lincolnshire Farmer is great fun and you don’t even have to be a farmer!

Dave Rose CA has been a Trustee of LCVYS for over twenty years, and has served as Chair in the past. He started his involvement with Youth Work as a volunteer in the early 1970s, and has served as a trustee on assorted youth projects and worked on a number of different Youth and Children’s projects in different parts of the country over the years. He is a member of the Church Army Mission Community, and was Youth Work Adviser (later Children & Youth Officer) for the Diocese of Lincoln for over twenty Years. Dave is a JNC qualified Community & Youth Worker, and has a Postgraduate qualification in Adult Education, he is an experienced trainer and assessor (he has an A! assessor qualification), and has acted as professional assessor on two different JNC Youth Work degree courses.

Brett has been a member of the scouting movement for over 20 years, starting as Cub Scout himself, learning skills and earning many awards on his way through the organisation including the highest award, the Queen Scout Award and DofE Gold.
He now serves as a leader in Lincolnshire, working with groups of young people, teaching a wide range of skills and life lessons. If he isn’t in weekly meetings at his local group, he is loosing arrows with the Lincoln District Scout Archery Team, delivering sessions across the county.
As a young man, Brett received help from, and later volunteered with, his local youth services, taking advantage of the opportunities available through Vinspired, Connexions and the Prince’s Trust. He is now keen to give other young people these same opportunities to learn and thrive.

Jo Stockdale

Jo is the founder of Well Within Reach, which in its broadest sense is concerned with the social and emotional competence and wellbeing of young people, with a particular focus on making simple sense of childhood brain development, especially for those children who, for all sorts of reasons, may be considered somehow vulnerable.
She works in partnership with various agencies and organisations, including NSPCC, Action for Children’s Arts, Children’s Bereavement Centre, and local authority Virtual Schools, as well as with LCVYS.
Jo is a trainer, consultant and advisor, and also develops products and resources for both practitioners and parents to support the healthy growth and development of the children they live and work with.

Frances has worked as the LCVYS Development Officer since November 2011. Previously she has worked within Children’s Services as a Family Support Worker And Connexions Personal Adviser. Frances also works as a youth and communtiy worker for Washingborough and Branston

Sarah joined LCVYS in August 2022. She has been a STEM Ambassador and enjoys supporting youth work in the county.
