If you could encourage your best friend to make one small change which would result in a longer, healthier life – would you do it?
This is the question that Lincolnshire County Council is asking all Lincolnshire residents aged 18 and over. If you are passionate about helping the people you care about to lead a healthier life, then why not become a Lincolnshire Live Well Champion, and have your skills recognised? In just 3 hours of FREE training, you will learn the information that you need to know and the best ways in which to be heard. You will then have the opportunity to contribute to and receive further support from a network of likeminded people.
There is no further obligation attached. All we ask of Live Well Champions is that you are willing to pass on information and encourage people to look after their health when the opportunity arises.
Live Well Champions are also able to access a fully funded Royal Society of Public Health (RSPH) Level 2 Award in Understanding Health Improvement, which is ideal if you are planning a career in a health-related environment, such as sports settings, Primary Care Settings etc.
The next Live Well Champions training session will take place 9.30am – 12.30pm on Thursday, 3rd July at the YMCA in Rumbold Street, Lincoln.
