LCVYS was established to co-ordinate, help, support and act as the voice of the Voluntary Sector youth services in Lincolnshire. This is on behalf of the voluntary and community youth organisations, including main uniformed organisations as well as individual, independent youth groups and those providing a service or facility for young people.
LCVYS is managed by a Trustee Committee who are elected annually from and by the membership, and /or co-opted by the Trustees.
Our Development Officer, Frances Porter
is there to provide them with support and they give the ‘Development Officer‘ direction on what services they would like to receive and how they would like them delivered. Where it is able within its work, LCVYS aims to combat discrimination on the grounds of sex, gender, age, marital status, responsibility for dependents, race and ethnic origin, beliefs, sexual orientation and disabilities.
Who can join LCVYS?
Any group can join LCVYS that provides services to children and young people from the voluntary sector in Lincolnshire.
